Food is good. Drinks refreshing. Service was good. Nothing bad or disappointing, it's just like so many other Mexican restaurants. I just enjoyed having a margarita and dining outside.

Service is excellent. Someome is always there to refill your drinks, check up on you and they always ask your how your doing. Lovely food and amazing representation/preperation.

Had a nice visit with the proprietor Diane. Excellent Chile relleno and service. The picked up The Bad Stuff Tequila Extra Añejo.

I eat in this restaurant a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there many times. The cooking is excellent, the staff is professional and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant for a tasty supper.

My family has come here at least. 30x's. Best authentic Mexican food in so cal. Traditional/home cooked sauces, just amazing. The very best Chile Verde I've had. Best chips n salsa anywhere. Try something different, you're going to love it!!

Bartender Jennifer is amazing. The owner is incredibly welcoming and the food and drinks are always soo good. Five stars every time we come: highly reccomend!

This is by far the best Mexican food in the area. The Margaritas are great. Love the mixed chips and salsa, ask for the hottest salsa if you like it spicy. Specials change all the time so there is always something new to try.

Really good food and service

Very well organised and welcoming restaurant. They offer large meals and for fair prices. We liked the meals very much and the waiters were very personal and informative. Will definitely recommend this place.

Mole was terrible chopped up grilled chicken breast from costco, then a package of instant mole mix dissolved in luke warm water with beans and rice all for an amazing 16.00

Awesome restaurant with flavorful dishes and a great selection. Chicken tortilla soup is always good for the body.

We got the flautas the beef flautas we got the ground beef enchilada and the monster burrito all of it was fantastic if I could give it a 10 star I'd give it 10 Stars

There are probably 50+ Mexican restaurants in Escondido where we live and we drive up to Cantina Tequila in Bonsall.

Gear food, large portions, great service

First be forewarned the chips here are crazy addictive. A great combination of flour and corn tortilla chips with a tasty salsa. If you can pull yourself away from the chips you'll find plenty of wonderful food on the menu along with excellent service and affordable pricing. Can't wait to return.

Excellent choice of Mexican Cuisines. All your favorites and then a few specials of the day. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor tends to be a bit more quiet when the weather permits.

We were at a nearby business and heard it was good. We were in luck ate on the patio and it was Taco Tuesday. 4 different types of tacos for $2.50 each and homemade corn or flour tortillas. I also love the chips, the chips and salsa are corn and flour. Love the flour ones.

Good food good fast service. Weird placement of the bathroom and needs more dessert variety as well as the chips wernt very good. Other then that I recommend it

Service from staff is excellent very attentive, didn't rush us out the door either. The food was really good had the 3 tacos combo it's called "Manny's b-day " or something the mixed drinks were great : will be coming back.

Great little Mexican place! They serve chips and salsa right away, but plot twist, some of the chips are flour instead of corn. Both delicious, but those flour ones take it up an extra notch. I had a burrito with a side of beans. Super tasty, and they even sneak in a few veggies. Didn't even notice until I was almost done, as I was snarfing it down. Beans were creamy and hot too. Excellent margarita. My father in law says the Cadillac is even better, but the house one rocked. Also, the logo is super cool. Look at it closely! Not my first time, and assuredly not my last. Well worth it!

The food here is very good. The staff is very friendly and the owner is always walking around making sure everyone is happy with their experience. The only reason that I don't give them 5 stars is because I think the prices are a bit too high. It doesn't stop me from coming back, just not as often as I would like to.

They are really good in quality, and getting the orders exactly right. Nice personnel, excellent quality. I highly recommend!!

I had a coupon so I took my son in with me to share some tacos. Chips and salsa were served. They were delicious. The fish tacos were good. Fish wasn't breaded and had a bit more purple cabbage than preferred, but still good. The only weird thing was that you could look out the back window and see the employees smoking. Usually places try to hide where they smoke. Also, an employee was getting disciplined at the front door when we were leaving. I was a little surprised they didn't try to hide their fight either. Didn't bug us, so I give it a 5!

Home made tortillas are by far the very best I have ever had, The people are all very kind that work there and not once have I ever been disappointed by the food or drinks. A+

Great tacos for lunch. Cabbage was a little bitter and i mentioned it to the waiter. He thanked me for mentioning that and was sorry it was bitter.

Menu has a good variety of items. With 15 people in our party, we had many of the items, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Prices are reasonable and the service was attentive. The lobster enchiladas were a favorite. I would eat here again.

Love the owner Manny, always kind and attentive. The food is incredible and my kids beg to eat here when we are passing though the area. The home made tortilla chips are amazing. The employees are warm, helpful and they make eating here even better.

My husband and I love this place! They have savory stuffed jalapenos and good drinks. I have had a fish dish here (forgot the name of it) that was pretty delicious. Last night, I ordered the Enchilada Trio (I highly recommend) and my husband ordered the Monster Burrito (he loved it). The restaurant served chips and salsa which were very good. My husband and I also got guacamole which was one of the best we have ever had. The staff have always been friendly here as well.

They do not enforce their face mask policy. 7 people walked by our table with our food on it without face masks. No six feet of distance. Will not be returning during COVID. Service was bad too.

A favorite stop for great food in Bonsal. Diverse menu with some specialty plates. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations, I have never been disappointed.

I have been going here for about three years now . Great people . Great food . I love the Enchiladas Suizas, Manny’s Tacos , Flautas , Enchilada trio , the different shrimp dishes , and I like the largest burrito and I get it with shredded chicken and the sauce on the side . There is nothing I don’t like at this place . Chips are great . Salsa is great . I wish the Guacamole was less expensive but I can’t have it all!! Not a drinker so I can’t comment on drinks . OH and the churros with ice cream NOM NOM!! Plus patio is open for Covid so it gives me a sense of normalcy ! Thank you !!!

The food is great, the service needs improvement. Good attitudes but they seem to be lacking a system.
